Anxiety and Depression has risen at an alarming rate over the past 50 years. In the diagnosis of ADD or ADHD, there is no medical test. Doctors rely on standardized assessments and the feedback of parents, teachers and guardians without taking into account crucial factors such as diet, exercise, sleep, health or environment. Psychiatrists then prescribe drugs for these kids, without properly explaining to parents the often severe and damaging side-effects such as insomnia, loss of appetite, headaches, psychotic symptoms and even potentially fatal adverse reactions, such as cardiac arrhythmia. Many of these side effects are long lasting and sadly, many school systems actually work with government agencies to force parents to drug their children, when in fact, in most cases, there is nothing wrong with your child that cannot be organically treated. We work with families across North America, treating kids with CBT combined with our organic, 7- step program.
